The winter makes it difficult to get out and about on my journeys. It’s not so much the fact that it can be cold, but here in England the winter can be gloomy, and coupled with the short daylight hours makes videoing a challenge.
However, I am undeterred and as often as possible I will be out with my camera. There are a number of lovely villages close by and depending on the light levels I have them marked down for visiting. Already, I have been researching and finding little nuggets of information that will inform and entertain you, my viewer.
At the beginning of this month (December), I had to make the long journey to Maryport in Cumbria. My wife's father is in a care home and it’s a trip of over 300 miles one way to visit. It didn’t leave me much time, but as always I try to make sure I have a camera with me. There is no voiceover but at least you can get a view of the harbour. A lot of money has been put into making the area nice and there is much more to look at if I get the opportunity in the future.
My next video will be a village not too far from my home here in Wiltshire, so do look out for that one and make sure you subscribe to my channel and click the notification bell. YouTube lets those who click the bell know every time a new video is uploaded.
