Back in May 2016, 6 years ago exactly as I write this, we took a family holiday. It was our first and so far, only coach tour. The tour turned out to be excellent and we had a group of lovely people with us on the coach and two very good drivers who looked after us very well. The tour company, Leger Holidays has a large offering of tours from the UK across most of Europe, something to suit most interests.
The whole process of being picked up through to being dropped off at home was good and although we covered many miles over 12 days it was not tiring due to the well-equipped coach and regular stop-off points. The longest journey is to get from the UK to Italy and back through France and Switzerland.
Here are some of the places we spent time in, so you can see we got to see a lot of Italy which if left to our own devices would not have done. Here are some of the places where we stopped to look around.
Riva del Garda
Venice
Siena
Rome
Florence
Sorrento
Pisa
Lake Maggiore and Isolo Bella
Stresa
Italy is certainly a beautiful country with some amazing towns and varied scenery. From mountains to coastal views a tour of Italy is one that I can certainly recommend.
I love old buildings and Italy has plenty and the old towns and cities are so attractive to walk around. One day, I would love to go back and spend more time in some of the above places and film them for my YouTube Channel, please do check it out and subscribe.
