When Things Go Wrong

When things go wrong they can really go wrong. Yesterday the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May had one of those days.

Suffering from a cold she found herself struggling to speak as bouts of coughing took over. If that was not bad enough, a prankster Simon Brodkin, went to the front of the stage and handed Mrs May a piece of paper written as a P45 form (this form in the UK is given to anyone leaving a company, fired or otherwise). Simon claimed that Boris Johnson had asked him to hand this to her.

If all of this was not bad enough, individual letters from the Conservative Party Conference theme stuck on the wall behind Theresa May randomly fell off! What do you think most people will now remember about her speech? Yes, things certainly went wrong. The timing of all 3 events could not have been worse.

Have you had times like this? Times when not just one thing but when several things happened at the same time? Please leave a comment below and let us know what you did when things went wrong.
