Have you noticed that link on Twitter that says ‘Favorite’?
What is the purpose of this and how can you use it?
The favorite link allows you to save a tweet for reading later or keeping it as a reference for future use. I find that when I am reading tweets on my Blackberry or computer and find that if I don’t have the time to respond to it then marking it as a favorite is very useful. I am more likely to do this when on my Blackberry and a link to a web page or YouTube video is displayed. When you have a convenient moment you can look up your stored favorites and read the tweets and follow any links.
You can find your favorites on Twitter.com on your profile page from the tab displayed there.

Hi Roland,
Thanks for this tip. It’s impossible to keep up with all the great tweets and links that appear in my twitter feed so this is a great way to come back to them later. Keep the tips coming! L
PS How was your curry? Have also followed you on Twitter

Hi Lucy
Thanks for your comment. The curry went down well. We had family over for a meal and they all enjoyed it thanks.
I will do my best to keep the tips coming. There should be another next week for you.
Roland
Certainly a useful tip, nothing worse (obviously there are alot worse things) than in the early days of seeing something interesting in your twitter stream when out and about on your mobile and being unable to save it.
Great tip and blog Roland.
Thanks Gareth. I am pleased you like the blog.
As a relative newcomer to Twitter I did wonder what the favourite link was for – thanks for enlightening me that will be useful. More tips please!

I auto save my Favorited tweets to Evernote, so that I can read whenever I want.
