A Simple Twitter Tip to Make Your Name Stand Out
How does your Twitter name appear?
Is there anything you can do to improve how people read it?
Here is an example in my own case. I have a Twitter account in my own name and in Twitter it could look like this – @rolandmillward. However here is a simple tip to make it easier to read. Simply make sure that you use capital letters for each name and we then have @RolandMillward. I see may accounts where the name is hard to work out as the first name and surname run into each other. To change the look just log into your Twitter account profile and change the letters and save.
Blogging tip. Use h tags
When you write a post on your blog it is a good idea to use h tags as headings rather than just normal text in bold. WordPress has 6 h tags 1 being the largest text size and 6 the smallest. I have listed them below so that you can see how each h tag would appear.
This is H1
This is H2
This is H3
This is H4
This is H5
This is H6
Using the tags allows search engines to see that you have a new section below it and if the heading and the text below match up you will find that Google will like that and increase your ranking. When you write a post split it where possible into sections so that these headers can be used as sub headings to the title. You will normally be using h2 or h3 tags for sub headings depending on the size of the text required.
